I’m trying to get caught up on everything I’ve completed on my 101 in 1001 list, and I had no idea I had finished so much in the last few months! We ended up in Cleveland back in September because Dale was hired for a shoot around that area. He was able to propose a few dates, so naturally, I checked to see when the Browns were in town and tried to coordinate with their schedule. At that time, Tyrod Taylor was still starting for the Browns, and while Baker Mayfield had seen some snaps, it was nothing significant. That didn’t stop me, though, as a born-and-bred Sooner fan, from wishing and hoping and praying that I’d get to see just one snap from him.
Little did I know, Taylor would get hurt and Mayfield would replace him. And then lead the Browns to their first win in 635 days. I still can’t believe I was there for it. The stadium was insane — you’d think the Browns had won the Superbowl! The atmosphere was incredible, before, during and after the game, and I can’t think of a better game to check off as my first ever NFL game.
