I can’t believe you made me a mother six months ago. How are you old enough to have a half birthday??
You’re trying so hard to crawl. You’ll lay on your tummy and push your butt up in the air. You can lock out your legs and stand tall in your Skip Hop play set, though, and it’s so crazy! You can also sit up tall on the couch. It’s funny to turn the corner and see you sitting up in the corner of the couch like a grown girl.
You’ve eaten avocado, carrot, peas with mint, applesauce and banana. You prefer the boob to any of that. You still hate a bottle, but you’re warming up a little to a pacifier (mainly just to chew on it). You’ve also started drinking a little bit of water from a sippy cup. It breaks your mommy’s heart to watch you being so big!
You still don’t have any teeth, which is fine with me .. I love your gummy little smile! You grin all the time. You make sweet little giggles and noises. I think you’re starting to teeth, though. You’ve gotten a little fussy here and there, and super drooly, and you pull a little on your ears and shake your head back and forth. We call it the “nope nopes” and it’s so cute.
You stare at Louie and you love it when he licks your hands and feet. You’ll reach for him now (and he’s starting to get used to it). I love your little friendship. He’s stopped making old man noises every time you touch him.
You’re getting so smart, sweet girl. I love watching your mind process the world, and I love when you reach for me. We’re so proud of you. Happy six months, little girl!
